The Inn at Tabbs Creek is a relaxed and romantic waterfront Bed and Breakfast situated in Mathews County, Virginia just off the Chesapeake Bay. The Inn is an Eco friendly and certified Virginia Green Lodging establishment, where the natural splendor of the outdoors surround the multi building property which offers guests an array of activities. There are three buildings that make up the Inn at Tabbs Creek property- the main Captain Billups House, Bay Cottage and Bayside Suite & Owners Quarters. The main house is circa 1800 which is in exceptional working order, having been dutifully upgraded and renovated by current owners. The second building houses two larger suites and a guestroom and sits just beyond the Inn’s in-ground swimming pool and gardens. The third building is home to the owner’s two-level quarters and a guest suite (The Bayside Suite). All guestrooms have a view of the water or the well tended grounds, gardens and swimming pool. All rooms updated with ensuite baths and kitchenette amenities.

Of particular note is the Inn’s private dock which is home to a private charter boat in the summer season, and a general launchpad for water activities, adding a resort like ambience to the Inn experience. The Inn is also within an easy drive from Richmond, Norfolk, Northern Virginia, Charlottesville, Washington DC and Baltimore, offering amazing waterfront stays for a large population surrounding the Mid-Atlantic. Growth has been strong for this well run Bed & Breakfast, for guests have desired a quiet place to relax with wonderful amenities (such as built in swimming pool, kayaking, paddleboarding, bay cruises, biking, etc).
