Property Overview

The Manor was originally built in 1916 as a tavern with guest lodging. Cabins were added in the early 2000s, which are fully self-contained with kitchens and private outdoor hot-tubs. 50+ acres full of trees and fields, with pond and stream makes this a true paradise in the Shenandoah Valley.

Staunton, VA was called out as one of the best small towns in America in several venues, including USA Today, Smithsonian, and Southern Living Magazine, and many of those same publications have also recognized Lexington, Virginia as of the best small towns in the South. Steeles Tavern is almost exactly halfway between them!

The Shenandoah Valley has a wealth of historical and natural attractions. There are many wonderful things to see and do, including breweries, vineyards, theatre, and outdoor activities. It's a paradise for hikers, from pleasant strolls in the National Park to the workouts along the Appalachian Trail. And don't forget about things like touring farms, caves, and even blowing glass...there is a wealth of other activities that guests will come to the area to enjoy.
