Silverbow Inn is housed in the historic Messerschmidt Building in downtown Juneau at the epicenter of both the business and tourism district. The circa 1907 building (originally a bakery) has experienced several additions (1914, 1970, and 2010) and ongoing improvements to reach its current iteration as a 16-accommodation boutique hotel. Unique features define the experience at Silverbow Inn, including a James Beard nominated restaurant in the Inn’s leased ground floor rental that was just named on of “22 Best Pizza Places in the US” by the New York Times, a variety of accommodations that answer the needs of both leisure and business travelers, and three rooftop decks with hot tubs, fire pits and year-round seating areas that look over downtown Juneau, the Gastineau Channel, and up at towering Mt Juneau when weather allows.

Guests first enter Silverbow through a spacious lobby with high ceilings, comfortable sitting areas, and a featured bar that is the gathering place for the Inn’s self-serve breakfast and home to a 24/7 snack bar. This space is also home to a formal front desk and guest services area and the Inn’s ADA accessible guest room. Current owners are always planning for the future and the addition of this first floor ADA compliant room and the extension of a sprinkler main should enable incoming owners to add five additional units to be built on top of the Inn’s third floor. A staircase leads to 15 unique accommodations that range from quality economy style rooms to a 420 square foot Penthouse suite with an open floor plan and views of the waterfront and Mount Jumbo. All guestrooms, however, have been purpose designed and are well appointed.
